Here is an explanation on how to insert NAVAIDS:Ĭall up the window to create the appropriate navaid (ILS, Marker Beacon, VOR/ DME, NDB) from the Insert Menu. I have don it for numerous airports ,including TNCM which has an ILS with BC for runway 9. It does explain somewhere in the help menu on the AFCAD 2.21 program that ILS cannot be added to runways, (You can add them on the AFCAD but they wont work nor be in the GPS approach procedures)Īctually you can ,they will work just fine and they also show up on your GARMIN-GPS.
